Description
Cap: size 0.8-1.5cm; colour beige; shape conical, not opening with age; margin inrolled. The cap is covered with an easily removed gelatinous membrane.
Gills: pale brown when young darkening with age; gills join the stem to the full depth of the gill. Neither curving up to the cap or running down the stem." class="glossary_link" href="/mushrooms/glossary#adnate">adnate.
Stem: length 3-8cm; width 0.1-0.3cm; colour cream.
Spores: dark purple/brown.
Flesh: colour cream.
Habitat: found in pasture,heath growing small groups.
Frequency: very common.
