Description
Cap: 6-12cm Convex with in-rolled margin becoming flattened. Greyish brown, paler towards the edge.
Gills: Sinuate, crowded, broad. Off-white to flesh coloured.
Stem: Short and stocky. Often swollen at the base. Pale and covered in violet fibers
Spores: Pale pink
Flesh: White to cream, often mottled. Smells and tastes perfumed.
Habitat: Pasture (often around woodland edges), in groups or rings.
