Description
Cap: 2-4cm Typically tawny brown, but vary variable. Delevops wavy margin or groved.
Gills: Very widely spaced, powdery. gills join the stem to a part depth of the gill. The gills are seen to curve up towards the cap, but do join the stem." class="glossary_link" href="/mushrooms/glossary#adnexed">Adnexed or slightly gills are seen to curve down along the stem." class="glossary_link" href="/mushrooms/glossary#decurrent">decurrent.
Stem: 4-8cm tough and fibrous. Same colour as cap.
Spores: White
Flesh: Thin and slightly paler than the cap.
Habitat: In troups in woodland
