Description
Cap: 5-15cm Pinkish-brown with grey scales. Strongly convex at first later expanding to flat.
Gills: Free, white and crowded. Slowly bruising pink.
Stem: Stocky, with a bulbous base. Greyish white, bruising pink. Has a hanging ring with fine striations on the upper surface.
Spores: White
Flesh: White. Slowly bruising pink.
Habitat: In small groups in woodland.
Frequency: Very Common
